We’d like to start by congratulating all of our operatives and the management team who have successfully completed training this month. Their hard work and dedication to learning new skills reflect Pavenet’s ongoing commitment to professional development and excellence across all areas of our business.
This has been an especially busy month of training, with our teams engaging in a variety of specialist courses to strengthen their knowledge and technical expertise.
The month featured a wide range of practical and industry-recognised courses designed to enhance technical skills and build confidence on site. Training included Clamshell Bucket Handling, NPORS Excavator as Crane, and Ride-On Roller training with Koast, giving our operatives valuable hands-on experience with specialist equipment.
Our team also achieved key industry qualifications with CITP, including EUSR National Water Hygiene and SHEA Water certifications, as well as EUSR Cat 1 & 2 Locating Utility Services and Implement Safe Excavation courses. These qualifications ensure strong knowledge of water hygiene, health, safety, and environmental practices—critical standards in the utilities sector that Pavenet upholds at every project.
Additional training focused on supervisory and management skills, including CITB Temporary Works Coordinator (TWCTC) training with ESS and CITB Site Supervisor Safety Training (SSSTS) with 3B Training. Our team also completed Total Station training with ESS, enhancing surveying and setting-out capabilities to deliver infrastructure projects with precision and accuracy.
Health and safety skills were further strengthened as a number of operatives successfully completed the St John’s 3-day First Aid course with Tutorcare, ensuring readiness to respond effectively in any situation on site.
In addition to this, we are thrilled for Stan Kazaks, who has begun his Construction Site Supervisor apprenticeship with Southampton Solent University, demonstrating Pavenet’s commitment to developing future industry leaders.
