Our commitment to Health and Safety is demonstrated by maintaining an Occupational Health & Safety Management System (OHSMS), which meets the requirements of ISO 45001:2023 standard with a mindset of taking early action to address opportunities for improving performance, being proactive, encouraging participation and prioritising people.

Our OHSMS ensures we take all practicable steps for the health, safety and welfare of all workers, contractors, customers, visitors and the general public from any incident or injury due to our activities while also complying with all statutory requirements, regulations and approved codes of practice dealing with health and safety where applicable to our activities.

We aim for the continued development of a positive Health, Safety & Wellbeing Culture within the workplace to help maintain a safe and healthy working environment for all persons.
All people and workers are encouraged to document and report incidents / near misses and to suggest safer ways of working.
These reports will be investigated with the aim of preventing problems occurring and Management will endeavour to eliminate hazards and reduce risks where recognised.

To further eliminate hazards and risks we operate an ongoing programme of risk assessments, method statements and inspections.
These are regularly reviewed, and any findings to determine the adequacy of controls in place to eliminate hazards and reduce OH&S risks are monitored.

All Management functions will comply with our OHSMS policies and procedures.
Contracts Managers and Site Management shall continually aim to promote a high standard of OHSMS.
All workers shall perform their duties properly and in accordance with OHSMS policies, procedures, instructions and rules.
All individuals working on behalf of Pavenet will be informed of their OHSMS obligations.
